This page explains what Deskstead collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email, shipping address and what you bought. Payment details go straight to our payment processor and never reach our servers.
When you browse: standard analytics about pages viewed and where you arrived from. If you consent to marketing cookies, our advertising partners also receive an event when you view a product or complete a purchase.
Why we collect it
To ship your order, to answer you when you email us, and to understand which pages people actually use. Nothing here is sold to a third party.
Who else sees it
Our store runs on Shopify, our orders are fulfilled by a manufacturing partner who receives your shipping address, and our payment processor handles the transaction. Each of these sees only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it. You can also opt out of data sharing for advertising through the privacy choices link in our footer.
Contact
Email us with any privacy question and a person answers.
