1. Hook it over the edge
The two brackets drop over the back edge of the desktop and sit flush against the surface. Nothing is measured and nothing is marked.
2. Turn the thumbscrews
Tighten each one by hand until it stops. That mechanical grip is what lets the tray carry a loaded power strip without sagging, and it is the reason there is no adhesive anywhere on the product.
3. Drop the mess in
Power strip, chargers, adapters and every loop of slack go inside the tray. The floor under your desk goes back to being floor.
4. Leave one cable
One run to the wall is all that stays visible.
Moving desks
Loosen the screws, lift it off, clamp it somewhere else. Nothing is left behind on the old desk, which is the whole point of not using glue.
